More than 30 dead in Abu Ghraib bombing as violence returns to Iraq

A suicide bomber struck a group of tribal leaders gathered for a reconciliation meeting in western Baghdad today, killing as many as 33 people,It was the second major bombing in a week ,and The attack was a clear attempt to sabotage efforts to reconcile the Iraqi people at the crucial tribal level,all depended on the so-called Sunni Awakening which saw tribal leaders turn their backs on sectarian bloodletting and set up militias to fight al Qaeda and other extremist groups. The Sunni and Shia tribal leaders were in talks aimed at alleviating the deep and lingering animositi between the communities in Iraq after years of death , suicide bombings and ethnic cleansing.

Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, said: “Violence against women and girls is unacceptable in any form no matter what the circumstances are.” Ms Smith said that more needed to be done to challenge attitudes that condoned violence against women and girls.I think this is unaccetable,all the people has liberty of clothes thinks,and chose their ways!
